About the Manufacturer
Manufactured by Karube Zori in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture. This manufacturer single-handedly supports the feet of sumo wrestlers, gyoji, and actors in period dramas.
Domestic manufacturers of zori omote (zori sandals) have gone out of business one after another, and there are now only a few of them in Japan.
