This bucket bag is a collaboration between the Tachibana Textile Research Institute in Onomichi, Hiroshima, and the miscellaneous goods brand "salvia" that is close to your daily life.
It is made into a rounded shape using fabric from Onomichi Canvas, the last canvas factory in Onomichi.
The gray color in particular is a little special, and is printed by hand using a dye uniquely developed by the Tachibana Textile Research Institute, using iron powder from a steel mill in Onomichi.
There is a subtle depth in the muted colors, and the gentle stitching, which is ``like hand embroidery'' made by a specialized embroidery factory in Gosen, Niigata, adds a soft warmth.
A leather round cord is used for the handle. The simplicity of canvas and the elegance of leather are in harmony. The more you use it, the more the leather texture changes, and one of its charms is that it slowly adapts to your hand.
