About the red tile pattern

The red-tile roof is the standard for traditional houses in Okinawa.

The contrast between the big blue sky and the red-tiled roofs is a familiar yet very beautiful island scene.

Under the red-tile roofs, people live their lives and their families work. This warm checkered pattern was born from those red-tiled roofs.

Okinawa's tea "Ucchin-cha".

Ucchin, also known as "turmeric," is a perennial herb of the ginger family.

It is called autumn turmeric because it produces white flower spikes in autumn. Shimanone's Ucchin Tea is a blend of 10 different ingredients with turmeric rhizome as the main ingredient.
