Cloisonne prints｜Kamawanu
The word "shippou" was derived from the fact that circles are connected in all directions, and it was believed that relationships between people (circles) are as valuable as the seven treasures. This pattern is recommended for a wide range of celebrations and gifts.
Kamawanu tenugui are made using the "Chusen" dyeing technique, which has been used since the Meiji era. Therefore, the finished product is slightly different even with the same dye depending on the weather, temperature, humidity, and other factors of the day.
