Traditional patterns and craftsmanship intertwined, a beautiful and practical premium memo pad

The "Pattern of Happiness" series is an original design by Fuwa Market that brings to life the meaning of "wishing for happiness" held by traditional Japanese patterns, created in collaboration with a textile designer.

One of the patterns, Seigaiha (blue ocean waves), symbolizes the wish for "eternal prosperity" and "family fortune," like waves that continue forever.

We have designed it in a modern style that dyes the good motifs of traditional patterns with contemporary lifestyle influences.

Meticulous craftsmanship: Carefully crafted one by one at a Kyoto specialized box factory
Modern traditional patterns: Enjoy choosing from 6 types of patterns × 2 colors
Practical usability: Perfect for everyday quick memos, study notes, and work
Also suitable as a high-quality gift: The "Pattern of Happiness" conveys special thoughts

Bringing the beauty of Wa (Japanese style) into everyday life

The memo pad size is approximately 10cm square (memo paper is 9cm square). Having just one on your desk makes it a convenient size that's easy to use.

Use it freely as a shopping list, idea notes, jotting down thoughts, or a ToDo list.

Perfect for your office or home desk, for quick messages with family or partners, study, work, or business scenes. A convenient premium memo pad that lets you quickly jot down your daily "little notes."

Using hand-dyed Japanese paper adds beauty and makes the time you write memos a little more special.

Accent of color on the inside

In addition to the beauty when opened, the front and back paper uses simple, unpatterned paper.

While drawing out the beauty of the patterns, the calm atmosphere created by the plain paper allows you to enjoy different expressions on the front and back.

The delicate craftsmanship allows for smooth opening and closing, giving a pleasant feel each time you use it.

The charm of hand-dyed craftsmanship stands out

The hand-dyed Japanese paper used in this memo pad is carefully handcrafted one by one by skilled artisans specializing in box making in Kyoto, who are also friends and hand-dye Japanese paper craftsmen.

The deep colors and unique blends created by traditional techniques are truly captivating.

Looking closely at the patterns, you can feel the delicate layering of colors unique to hand-dyed paper.

The subtle gradations and shading create a unique harmony and express a one-of-a-kind beauty.

By carefully dyeing each sheet, a warm depth and subtlety emerge that cannot be expressed by simple printing alone.

The hand-dyed Japanese paper with layered colors is crafted one sheet at a time by Kyoto box making artisans. Each sheet has subtle variations in expression, bringing out your unique feelings.

Experience the charm of this harmony and warmth created by the artisans' craftsmanship.

Wishes and prayers embedded in the Seigaiha pattern

The infinite waves symbolize abundance

Large, swelling waves and small, calm waves. The Seigaiha pattern, with overlapping arcs like waves, represents abundant blessings.

For people living near the sea around the world, it is a significant motif, and not only in Japan but also in Egypt and Persia, you can find this design.

It appears in the Heian period's "Genji Monogatari" and was popular among commoners in the Edo period.

The infinite waves and abundant blessings became beloved good motifs, often given as wedding or new construction celebration gifts.

The colors are displayed in a gentle blue series,

and a warm brown series. The calm colors add elegance to your desk.

※ Because the sheets are cut individually, there are individual differences in the placement of the patterns. Please understand this beforehand.
