This gauze handkerchief features a beautiful variety of colors and modern patterns dyed using a technique called hand printing.

Made from double gauze that is highly absorbent and breathable, the soft and gentle texture becomes more comfortable against the skin the more you use it .

About the pattern

As I was sketching out the Seigaiha pattern, it gradually began to look more like a fan, so I decided to draw the surface of a fan.

I wanted to create a fun atmosphere while keeping the overlapping waves, so I depicted confetti being thrown and fans waiting.

About hand printing

Hand printing is a method in which a stencil is made for each color and the color paste is applied to the fabric one color at a time using a spatula.

This requires the skilled technique of measuring the degree of dye penetration. The delicacy of the patterns and the penetration of the colors are unique to Kyo-Yuzen hand printing.

- There may be some color fading, so please avoid washing with white items for the first wash (2-3 times).

・Please do not use bleach (chlorine-based) detergents.
