Traditional patterns and artisan techniques woven together, beautifully practical coin purse

The "Pattern of Happiness" series is an original design that brings to life the meaning of "wishing for happiness" held by traditional Japanese patterns, along with a textile designer.

This coin purse is made of hand-dyed raw fabric, carefully crafted stitch by stitch by artisans in Kyoto. It adds a touch of Japanese color to everyday life and is an excellent choice as a gift.

Meticulous artisan craftsmanship: Each piece hand-dyed stitch by stitch at a dye workshop in Kyoto
Modern traditional patterns: Enjoy selecting from 3 types of patterns and 2 color variations
High durability: Made from thick handwoven cotton canvas (No. 11), durable and long-lasting
Also an excellent gift: The "Pattern of Happiness" conveys special thoughts

The ginkgo pattern is the color variation of the coin purse

The ginkgo pattern symbolizes "igniting silver leaves and calling good fortune."

We designed a modern style that dyes a good motif from traditional patterns into a contemporary lifestyle.

The colors are a warm yellow tone,

showcasing two chic green shades.

While the colors blend harmoniously, each has its own personality, making them perfect as colorful daily items. Since it’s a Japanese modern design, it pairs well with traditional clothing like bathrobes and kimonos.

※Because the fabric is cut from large pieces, there may be slight individual differences in pattern placement. Please understand this in advance.

The fusion of refined design and artisan craftsmanship

This coin purse is a special product, carefully crafted stitch by stitch by artisans.

The fabric uses domestically produced cotton canvas brand "Fujikinbai" with a traditional history. Today, precious shuttle looms are used to weave each piece of fabric one by one.

We aimed for a design that makes using it enjoyable.

Bringing the charm of Japanese style into everyday life

The coin purse measures 20cm long x 16cm wide x 2.5cm thick.

It fits smartphones and mini wallets, making it just the right size for quick outings.

The wide opening makes the contents easy to see, and you can smoothly take out your belongings even when in a hurry.

The shoulder strap length is adjustable, suitable for a small woman to a tall woman, with a wide strap. It can be detached, so it’s also useful as a pouch or small bag.

Of course, it can be used for everyday walks or shopping, as a sub-bag when traveling, or matched with traditional clothing like bathrobes and kimonos for special outings.

Add a touch of Japanese color to your daily outings.

A detailed design that highlights the charm of hand dyeing

This coin purse features an original textile design by Fuwa Market, a special product carefully crafted stitch by stitch by artisans at a dye workshop in Kyoto.

The traditional technique creates a deep color and unique blend that is its charm. When you look closely at the fabric, you can feel the rich layering of colors unique to hand dyeing.

Subtle gradations and nuances bring out a unique beauty that only handwork can achieve.

Each piece is carefully dyed stitch by stitch, producing a depth and warmth that simple prints cannot express.

The meticulous craftsmanship brings out the refined beauty of Japanese aesthetics. Every time you use it, you can feel the meaning of traditional patterns and artisan techniques from Japan.

We hope you experience the charm of this unique blend and warmth created by the artisans’ handiwork.

Wishes and prayers woven into traditional patterns

【Ginkgo Pattern】

Igniting silver leaves and calling good fortune

The autumn street trees are ginkgo trees in Ichou. Their fan-shaped leaves are dyed yellow, and the roads look like golden carpets.

The scenery looks like a picture book come to life. This Ichou is full of vitality and has trees that live over 1000 years.

It is said that divine spirits dwell in this life force, and ginkgo trees are often seen as sacred trees in temples and shrines.

People have long wished for longevity in the strong life force, good fortune in the spreading leaves, and gold luck in the golden-colored leaves, making many wishes upon the appearance of the Ichou.
