Received the highest gold award in “Omotenashi Selection 2025”
Fuwa Market (operated by Fuwa Company Co., Ltd.) has recently received the highest gold award in the ``Omotenashi Selection 2025 (1st period)'', an award that selects excellent Japanese products and services.
The ``Omotenashi Selection'' is a system that awards products and services originating in Japan that embody ``the spirit of hospitality that we want to convey to the world.'' It is characterized by its screening from a global perspective, which also incorporates evaluations by foreign experts.
The award was given to Fuwa Market's original product "Happiness Pattern Series."
Traditional Japanese patterns such as plum, ginkgo, and blue sea waves are reinterpreted in a modern way, and the playful color scheme and sophisticated design create items that are easy to incorporate into everyday life.
In addition to the design, each piece of Japanese paper and canvas is hand-dyed at a long-established dyeing factory in Kyoto, and the paper products are produced in cooperation with box craftsmen and the cloth products are produced in cooperation with sewing factories.
These efforts were highly praised by domestic and international judges, leading to this award.
