Founded in 1947, this is a workshop in Tsugaru, Aomori that has inherited the Akebi Tsugaru craftsmanship. We use high-quality Akebi vines that grow naturally in the Tsugaru region to create sturdy and beautiful braids. While preserving techniques that have been passed down since the Edo period, we make products that utilize the blessings of nature into tools for daily life.
